8. Ray, another question for you…let say you have 1 open spot left on a parlay, do you advise on hedging that parlay for the last pick by playing both sides of a game so you are guranteed a profit and minimize losses?

   • Did u make money on Denver last night? I watched that game on Fantasy Cast and Denver won the 1st half: 1st quarter went to Denver and 2nd quarter went to Raiders and Denver won the second half: 3rd quarter went to Denver and 4th quarter went to Raiders if Im not mistaken. We need to really setup a chat so all of us can talk and get our thoughts on games and picks. Maybe set up something 2 days out the week so we all can bank. As the old saying goes 2 heads are better than 1.

   • Hello Sportcap Ray Here I Wouldn’t Do it, You’ve Come too Far to Give the Sportbooks Free Money. No Rush on Closing that Parlay. I Leave them Open For a week Sometimes.

     What I do is Build Some More and when you get Several Open then go at them. it Depends on what the payback is but Parlays are a Source of Buying Your Own Insurance. From Your Comments it Seems to me that you Can Do this Again with Some Low Cost Parlays that would pay back Enough to Make Profit.

     Doing this You would have a Chance to Make them Pay You On Both or All by Taking a Good Money Line Play to Close the First One, Then on that Same Game Taking the Points on the Spread on Another, Some of those Games Allow You To Buy Points on an Open Parlay EXAMPLE the Raiders Denver Game With that Parlay You Could have Took Raiders +14.5 and on ANOTHER Denver-7,8,9,10,11,12 or with a Different Game the Favorite -170 and the Dog on the Plus Side. First Do Your Study and Determine If this Team is Going to Cover. That Way You Stand to win Both.

9. About last nights NFL Game – Denver Vs. Oakland….
   Last night was an interesting a game as far as the public was concerned. I noticed Ray you made an selection on the Raiders +points. I was intially leaning raiders as well but as I looked closer at the percentages I took Denver Full Game and Raiders 1h; which was a classic cover 13-0 w/ 2 mins left and raiders score for the cover..
   Here is why I took Denver full game: When I started to track the percentages at pregame the game look lopsided as it seemed the public was backing Denver as expected on Spread & ML…

   ML

   7% 7%
   But after watching the video on comparing pregame.com and SBR odds, it changed things completly.

   As you can see, the public was actullay buying on the OAKLAND, I”m assuming they were buy the 10.5 and probably even buying 13. Once i saw this i knew Denver was going to cover the FULL game, the action was split right down the middle..

   This goes to show that you need to check percentages from at least 2 sources to see if there are any discprencies as it could be the difference.

    Just signed up about a week ago and just finished watching the videos a few times over and its all starting to click. Couple of questions for you.
    1. In the NBA/NFL hidden % section, video #2, you had your own charts with each of the different hidden spreads for the SF/ARIZ gone, how did you come up with the hidden spread PERCENTAGES?
    There were percentages for the 8 all the way to the 10.5…all totaling the 100%…
    Are those percentages estimated based on your assumptions of the way the public is leaning or is there an actual formula?
    2. Do you weighing # of bets on each game in making your selections? I would think that a game that is getting 20k+ bets would have more meaning than a game that has 3k bets?

    • Hello Sportcap Ray Here I can Only Wish the Sportsbooks gave the Public Bettors the Percentages on all those Lines, If the did we All would get RICH. To answer Your Question I just Made an Example of what the Outcome Actually is when they Pay off on the Winning Bets, just so you would get the Big Picture Because many Bettors Think that when the Favorite win and Cover the Spread they all get paid on the Same Level NOT TRUE Because Even the Favorite Buy Points, they Don’t Very Often Buy Up they Buy DOWN

      EXAMPLE IF THEY’RE FAVORED TO WIN BY 13.5 PLAYING A DECENT TEAM THE PUBLIC BETTORS NORMALLY ARE THINKING 9.5 INCREASES THE CHANCE THAT THEY WILL COVER, SO THEY’LL BUY 4 POINTS AND GET THE SPREAD TO 9.5 DECREASING THE PAYBACK, THE BOOKS LIKE THAT, IN THE END THEY MAY WIN BY 20 POINTS.

      BUT IF THEY BUY TOO MANY AND THE OTHER SIDE ONLY BUY +1 ON THE DOG AND GET IT AT 14.5 and THE PERCENTAGES ARE RIGHT LOOK OUT THEY MIGHT WIN BUY 8 KEEP THE MONEY ON THE FAVORITE AND PAY THE DOG.

      BUT LISTEN TO THIS SOMETIME THE PUBLIC IN THAT SITUATION WILL BUY 4 ON THE DOG ALSO to get them at 17.5 FOOTBALL NUMBERS, THE SPORTBOOKS ARE SMART THEY’LL GET MONEY OFF BOTH SIDES AND BE HAPPY TO PAY THE WINNER AT LESS MONEY, ALL BECAUSE OF THAT DROP DOWN MENUE. DON’T THAT MAKE YOU THINK THEY KNOW HOW THE GAME IS GOING TO END BEFORE IT EVEN STARTS???

      SOMEBODY’S GOT TO KNOW SOMETHING! IF A NBA REF. COULD’NT EXPOSE THE LEAGUES AFTER GETTING CAUGHT ALL WE CAN DO IS KEEP FINDING OUT SOME OF THE SPORTSBOOKS TRICKS, THAT’S WHAT THIS SITE IS ALL ABOUT! CAN’T PROVE IT BUT WE KNOW!!

      If You Played the Favorite -155 to Win $100 You would Have to Wager $155 to win that $100, and if it Won You Would be Paid Back your wager Amount of $155 Plus $100 so Your Payback would be a Total of $255

    I’ve been reading some of the comments on here about betting the 4th qtr before it starts. Like if a team has not covered in the first three qtrs. The sportsbook I use wont give you a 4th qtr line after the 3rd ends. So I have been using the Live in-play option, which only comes in during commercial breaks. You may already know about this. It gives you the current pt spread, which is pretty much the same thing as betting on a team to win that 4th qtr. But I noticed in NFL, you have to be careful with that. I was ready to bet on the Saints (Live in-play) after the 3rd. But Denver had the ball deep in their territory when the 4th qtr started. So I waited until after they scored again…which they did. And then I bet on the Saints to cover the new spread the rest of the game. Well they outscored Denver 7-3 after I bet on them. But because of the early 4th qtr TD by Denver, they still lost the 4th qtr 10-7. I hope this makes sense. But it’s a way to bet the 4th qtr after the 3rd has ended.

          I’m working on that Problem, and Also I spoke with PayPal about the Premium Link Problem Earlier, they Suppose to Fix that Problem, I NOTICE that If You Pay from a paypal account it works, and also Works on DEBIT CARD Payments But Not with CREDIT CARDS, I’m Looking for a Second Payment OPTION.
